President Muhammadu Buhari during operational visit to troops in Maiduguri, Borno State


Finally, the brand of President Muhammadu Buhari which Nigerians have been craving for is gradually manifesting. After months and years of crying bitter tears of lamentation to the bloc in Aso Rock (popularly known as The Presidency) to present the president to the Nigerian public to see and hear from him, Muhammadu Buhari is now speaking to the Nigerian public. Not only to the public but also to the criminals in the language they understand.

The President which Nigerians have always craved for and wished they had; is a president who talks to his people and meets with his people. A president who takes action. A president who is seen in Nigeria and not only on screen from Aso Rock (or a recorded president). We are gradually witnessing that president.Isn't it beautiful?

Nigerians are not demanding for much. All we want is a secured Nigeria guaranteed by a president who feels, talks and meet with those who he is leading. June has indeed come with such a president for Nigerians. A president who speaks in the language they understand.

It is our hope, prayers and aspirations that the language is sustained for the remaining days, weeks, months and years of the president's stay in office.

Apart from reckless social media companies, please Mr. President, increase the volume of the language to the miscreants disturbing the peace of Nigeria. Tell your troops in your language to speak their language unequivocally to Boko Haram, Gun men and unknown Gun men, Bandits, kidnappers and other insurgent groups threatening the peace of Nigerians. They can only understand the language.

Mr. President Sir, please keep speaking the language and taking the actions.

200 Level student arrested for participating in NYSC Scheme

News The National Youth Service Corps has arrested a 200-level student who allegedly obtained a fake degree certificate and was undergoing the orientation exercise at the Zamfara State camp. It  was gathered that the NYSC last Friday apprehended the student, identified only as Rose, who was a 200-level Journalism undergraduate at a university in Benin Republic. The NYSC Director-General, Brig. Gen. Shuaibu Ibrahim, confirmed the arrest of the student to newsmen. He said the Benin Republic university wrote to the scheme when its officials discovered her on the social media, posting her photographs in the NYSC uniform in the Zamfara State camp. She was undergoing the Batch C Stream 1 orientation course before she was arrested. The DG noted that the student had been brought to the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, and handed over to officials of the Department of State Services DSS for further investigations. Brig.
